Brighton Grammar

Brighton Grammar had a worn out and tired surface in need of rejuvenation. Grassports was awarded the soccer field resurface because of our strong industry reputation and excellent customer references from top schools around Victoria.

First stage of the project was the removal and disposal of existing synthetic surface and infill, when possible Grassports try to repurpose turf so it can be recycled as a part of our commitment to environmental sustainability. All the existing turf was repurposed on this project. Grassports regraded the existing crushed rock base and installed a dust levelling layer for a smooth even finish ready for surfacing.

Brighton Grammar requested a FIFA grade system, we used 7,008m2 of HB250 synthetic turf and a 25mm thick in-situ Elayer shock pad layer on top of the compacted base. We then installed fine white kiln dried sand into the synthetic grass surface and finished with black SBR rubber crumb.

Grassports also resurfaced the existing cricket pitch in Supergrasse Shield 9mm synthetic turf (Cricket Victoria approved surface) and supplied a cricket pitch cover.
