Hallam Senior Secondary College

Grassports begun the works at Hallam Senior Secondary College with temporary fencing to the entire works for the safety of staff and students, also with a traffic management plan to ensure no disruption to school movement. 
 
We removed the existing fencing and concrete infostructure on the perimeter of the court. New concrete spoon drains and edge beams were installed to the perimeter of the courts including connection to the existing drainage, with new pit cover and lid. 
 
Grassports supplied and installed a crushed rock base to the court varying in depths across the courts to the required levels. Then using 100% Australian made (manufactured in Melbourne), SUPERGRASSE multi-sport synthetic turf. We supplied and installed blue for the courts and red for the running track, while incorporating line markings for netball, tennis and a two-lane numbered sprint running track with 5m tabs on the inside of the track. 
 
Finishing the project with matchplay deluxe nets, new basketball towers and netball sleeves all with hinged cap sleeves into new ground footings, posts, nets, and protective padding with Hallam Senior’s school logo. 
 
The school, its staff and students could not be happier with the new courts we provided, which are ready to use as promised for the 2021 school year! Grassports looks forward to the ongoing positive relationship with the school and maintaining the courts.
