Molong Hockey

Known for its wool, wheat and wine, the rural community of Molong is now the proud owner of a professional quality multi-purpose sport facility.

Comprising a full sized hockey pitch, two netball courts and four tennis courts, the local community can now play on a year-round synthetic grass surface that has ITF classification and FIH multisport hockey approval. 

Approximately 300 tonnes of materials went into this project including two semi-trailers of rubber underlay, two semi-trailers of synthetic grass and glue and more than four semi-trailer loads of sand.
