Our Lady of the Assumption VIC

The Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Primary School oval and main play space for their active student community could only be described as a dust bowl in summer and a mud pit in winter. 
 
As a new client to Grassports Australia, the school were confident in Grassports Australia’s extensive expertise. Working with the school to create their vision, we constructed a revitalised facility for active play and learning, all year round, in all weather conditions. 
 
The Principal, physical education teachers and the whole staffing group, provided input into the final design, making this a true collaborative process. The finished result is striking and the school are over the moon with the final outcome. 
 
Featuring Australian made products, a blue running track in the school colours was incorporated into the customised design. In addition to the running track, the ground includes a games area, a soccer and AFL field and goals. 
 
The school’s 500 plus students now have a year-round ground for fun-filled play and learning.
