Courtyard Conversion Turns Heads
“Their ability to accommodate and reschedule the process and work into the school requirements, policies and legislation was seamless. I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility throughout the duration of the project, whilst dealing with COVID-19 related issues of 2020. The whole school community is overwhelmingly impressed with the new space they have created. I would recommend Grassports for anyone requiring synthetic turf and would use them again should the need present”. – Campbell Usher (Building Services and Project Management)
The before and after at Peter Lalor Secondary College almost says it all, the school was looking to resurface and give life to a dull area not being utilised to its full potential. Grassports went in and levelled out the area, then resurfaced the courtyard using Supergrasse CoolPlay, and incorporated the school logo.
For the senior students a more sophisticated colour scheme was ideal, using “aussie blue”, grey in the foursquare area, with black surrounds and white line markings, it gives a fantastic finished product. Silver nap lock edging to entrance areas was also used to prevent trip hazards and Grassports installed a single basketball/netball tower.
The school is thrilled with the work completed and are so pleased the students have an outdoor space to learn and be social in as they pride themselves on having a hands-on learning approach.
