A new Grassports Australia client, an outstanding result!
Tara Anglican School for Girls boasts 720 students who will benefit from the facility every week.
The existing courts at Tara Anglican School for Girls had become unusable with extensive cracks in the surface. A quick internet search revealed Grassports Australia as the top provider of synthetic sports surfaces.
Our extensive experience, our ability to solve technical and structural issues and the high level of detail provided to the school about our processes for delivering the project, lead Tara Anglican School for Girls to entrust the job to us.
A failing sub-base and sub-grade was rectified and six multi-sport courts resurfaced using Grassports Australia’s acrylic surfacing system. Line marking includes six tennis courts, six netball courts and two basketball courts. The end result is an outstanding facility meeting all requirements.
With approximately 40 trucks (500t) of unstable material removed from the subgrade and substrate and a further 40 trucks (500t) of stabilising material brought back in, plus 25 trucks (300 t) of asphalt, it took 2400 hours to complete the construction.
