Grassports Australia customer Yarra Valley Grammar in Melbourne’s outer East had an existing hockey and tennis facility.
Grassports Australia were taking regular and specialised care to ensure the existing pitch was maintained to the highest possible performance with a hassle-free maintenance plan. However, the surface had become old technology and required an upgrade.
In addition to improving the drainage, we installed a sand-dressed hybrid hockey field and shock pad underlay with 12 tennis courts to create a truly multipurpose facility.
Using the latest technology in Australian made synthetic grass, the field is FIH and ITF approved making this an ideal option for a school at the top of their game. The field will be used daily by approximately 1200 Yarra Valley Grammar students and multiple hockey clubs.
